Deep learning

Deep learning is a technology that teaches software to “think” naturally like humans and imitates the human brain in processing data and creating patterns for use in decision making. Deep learning techniques utilizes a hierarchy of neural networks with neuron nodes connected together as in that of a human brain. While traditional programs use data in a linear way to analyse and make decisions, the hierarchical function of deep learning systems enables machines to process data with a nonlinear approach.

Deep learning is in the core of cutting edge technologies such as automated driving cars for automatically detect objects such as stop signs and traffic lights, pedestrians, vehicles far away and in close proximity etc.
